Here are a few pictures from a week ago when I visited Hilton Shilim – A resort in Lonavala amidst alpine mountains of the Western ghats and lush & assorted greenery.
The 2,500 acres that Hilton covered were vibrantly spread out with exotic trees of all kinds, green grass never missed a square inch of ground and various herbs and shrubs were lushly scattered around. One of our highlights was the vegetable garden which included rows and rows of fresh herbs and vegetables. Even our villa overlooked a huge mountain surrounded by dense trees and various hues of green. Every morning was started with beautiful 45-minute nature walks into the woods and climbing mountains to view the breathtaking sights from above.
It was a truly tranquil and pleasant experience amidst such irrepressible nature where you find yourself refreshed and relieved.
